Free shuttles being offered to Virginia Railway Express stations

Metro users are getting access to another transportation service.

Beginning on May 28, OmniRide is providing free shuttles to the Rippon and Woodbridge Virginia Railway Express (VRE) stations.

It will offer the shuttles while officials complete repairs on the Blue and Yellow line stops, according to a release from OmniRide.

Dale City shuttle passengers are going to be picked up at the Dale City Commuter Lot and certain locations on Dale Boulevard.

Users of the Lake Ridge service is stopping at the Tackett’s Mill Commuter Lot and on Old Bridge Road.

OmniRide will transport them back from the VRE trains later on.

Shuttle riders may park at Prince William County commuter lots for free or at Potomac Mills Mall, where additional spaces are being set aside.
