Prince William County Department of Development Services today announced the latest series of enhancements to ePortal, a single enterprise information portal that provides customized online digital customer project support, will go live on Monday, April 26, 2021.
Over the last six months, Building Development Division staff have dedicated time and resources to develop new digital assets and online services for customers, delivering on the Power of ePortal, which improves communications across organizational boundaries, reduces administrative burdens, leading to quicker decision-making and increased productivity.
“Delivering on the highest quality customer safety and services is our business. Today, customers have come to rely on the trusted service of the Prince William County ePortal and we are pleased by the industry support of the Power of ePortal program, which sees it as an economic value proposition,” said Wade A. Hugh, Director, Department of Development Services. “This will ensure that the most accurate information is received, and staff provide the best customer service possible, using a partnership approach.”
The following are the ePortal and eReview enhancements that will go live on Monday, April 26, 2021:
- Stand-alone Permit and Plan Submissions
- Stand-alone Commercial Trade Permits
- Code Modification Request Forms
- Document Viewing
- Customers will now be able to download approved plans and documents from cases.
- Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Plan Submissions
- Customers will have the capability to upload plans and permits.
- Special Inspection Submissions:
- Customers will now have the capability to upload Special Inspection Shop Drawings, Inspection Reports, and Certification
