Golfers will be coming together to support Prince William County children.

The John Jenkins Inaugural Fore the Kids Golf Tournament is set for October 22.

Shotgun start is at 11 a.m. at the Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge.

It costs $150 per golfer, and $550 for a team of four.

Several sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Prince William County.

Three branches are located in the county — the General Heiser Club Boys & Girls Club in Dumfries, the Hylton Boys & Girls Club in Dale City, and The Martin K. Alloy Boys & Girls Club of Manassas.

They offer several programs that focus on various topics, including leadership, sports, and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
