Local students and teachers are prepared for the new school year after receiving some needed items.
The Dale City Civic Association (DCCA) recently held its third annual Community Backpack and School Supply Drive.
It collected materials for schools in the Neabsco District, according to a release.
The DCCA would like to thank the following individuals, businesses and organizations for supporting the Community Backpack and School Supply Drive:

Community members will be able to partner with the DCCA on events and projects throughout the year.
They can also attend the non-profit’s meetings, which begin at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
The meetings are held in the Community Room at the Birchdale Recreation Center.
