Dumpster Days events in Prince William County provide residents with the chance to manage waste within their community. This involves collecting unwanted household items for disposal and encouraging coordination of and participation in local litter cleanups. Whether residents volunteer for cleanups or use the free dumpsters to tidy up their surroundings, community engagement plays a vital role in preserving a clean and enjoyable environment.
DISPOSAL GUIDELINES
Please note, we cannot accept the following items:
When discarding household appliances, kindly ensure that refrigerators are emptied and cleaned, glass trays are removed from microwaves, and the refrigerator doors are securely taped before delivering them to the designated Dumpster Day location.

We’ll also accept glass recycling (cleaned bottles and jars), and items that are “too good to toss” through B-Thrifty’s “Project B Green.
