For unsheltered individuals in Prince William County, help is now coming directly to them.
The newly reopened Homeless Mobile Unit is back on the road – operating from 3–6 p.m. every Thursday in Manassas. It’s more than just a vehicle; it’s a mobile access point for food, crisis support, and connections to long-term services.
“This unit allows us to offer services on the spot,” said Tonya Golden. “If the client is interested in services, they will be referred… If they need help from federal agencies, we will help them start the process.”
The unit’s return fills a critical gap in care and reflects the county’s continued commitment to those facing homelessness.
