…But as the weather becomes warmer, grass, leaves, and mulch become drier due to temperature conditions and lack of rainfall; therefore, they become flammable making outside fires more prevalent.

The Prince William County Fire & Rescue System recently responded to numerous outside brush/wildfires throughout the county back in Mid-March. Help Us Help You keep PWC residents and their communities safe by practicing safe fire habits, e.g., extinguishing smoking materials properly, keep overgrown brush trimmed, raking dry leaves and disposing of properly, etc.
