Supervisor Shares Reminders To Those Participating In Protests

Supervisor Angry On Protests

Written By: What’s Up Prince William

Following the death of George Floyd, protests have been held across the county.

Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry is asking those who are participating in or organizing protests to be aware of those who are seeking destruction, rather than peace and change.

“I want us to police each other and look out for those individuals, and report those individuals to the police, because these are the ones that we do not need at these events,” Angry said.

Anyone who has rage is encouraged to “digress” and consider the issues.

Moving forward, Angry explained, conversations need to be brought to the board rooms, chambers and Capitol Hill. There, policy changes can be discussed and the problem can be solved.

He also reminded the public to continue practicing COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and social distancing.

“These two situations are serious right now at a time in our history, and so it’s going to take all of us to get through this successfully.”
